This Privacy Policy describes how the Bibliq app ("we", "app") collects, uses and protects your information. By using Bibliq, you agree to the practices described here.

1. What data we collect

• Account data: email address and, when you sign in with Google, the name associated with your Google account.
• App usage data: your study progress (completed episodes, quiz results, day streak, achievements and daily challenge results).
• Waitlist (website): the email you voluntarily provide in the form.

We do not collect location, contacts, photos, microphone or any other sensitive data from your device.

2. How we use the data

• To create and maintain your account and sync your progress across devices;
• To send local daily reminders that you configure yourself (they can be turned off at any time);
• To share Bibliq news with those who joined the waitlist;
• To improve the app's performance and security.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell or rent your data. We only use providers necessary to run the service:

• Supabase (database and authentication infrastructure), with data stored securely and access restricted by row-level security policies;
• Google (when you choose to sign in with your Google account).

4. Advertising

Bibliq does not display ads and does not use advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs.

5. Security

Your data always travels over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Session credentials are stored encrypted on your device. Database access is protected by security policies that ensure each user can only access their own data.

6. Your rights (GDPR/LGPD)

You may, at any time:

• Access and correct your data;
• Delete your account and all associated data — directly in the app (Profile → Account → Delete my account) or as described on the Delete account page;
• Leave the waitlist by requesting it via the email below.

7. Children

Bibliq is intended for users aged 12 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under that age.

8. Changes

We may update this policy and will indicate the date of the latest revision on this page.
